At this point, we’d like to once again extend our heartfelt thanks to our guests: Jörg Dumkow on double bass and vocals, Anja Clarissa Gilles on violin and vocals, Ralf Tonnius on guitar, Jörg Strassburger on guest piano, and finally, Moe Jaksch, who not only played banjo and lap steel guitar but also gave the recordings a fantastic mix and extra punch.
You can look forward to 14 danceable swing, jive, and doo-wop gems, both original and cover songs!
Actual CD:
Swing Cat Club – Jetzt in Grün
The old CD was brown, the new one is “Now in Green,” once again by the Swing Cat Club, which Safe, Sane & Single always enjoy visiting when they want to go bigger. Alongside Jörg Dumkow on double bass and vocals, this time Anja Clarissa Gilles on violin and vocals, Ralf Tonnius on guitar, and Jörg Strassburger on guest piano were also present. And of course, Moe Jaksch, who not only played banjo and lap steel guitar on the CD but also contributed to the fantastic sound mixing and added some zest.
It features 14 danceable gems, some of which are original compositions and others are forgotten classics from the swing, jive, and doo-wop eras.
